Meet the Players...

Tim Bush: Guitar & Lead Vocals

Born and raised in South Greensburg PA, Tim started singing at a very young age. His passion for music continued for many years as he directed his energies toward playing guitar and songwriting, while at the same time performing publicly with bands, and also as a Solo artist. He was the lead vocalist with the band HY-5 from 1986-1993, and a member of the acoustic duet BOOKENDZ from 2007-2011. His musical influences include The Beatles, Neil Diamond, Dan Fogelberg, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, and other classic singer/songwriters. When he is not performing with HAMILTON AVE, Tim performs as a solo artist around the Greensburg PA area, while working on writing new songs. After many years of songwriting, Tim released his Debut Solo album entitled “A New Day Will Dawn” on
April 14, 2019.

Mike Scimmi: Bass Guitar/vocals
Mike, or Mr. Scimmi, as his former sixth grade students refer to him has been playing bass for over 40 years.
In addition to playing in local bands such as , STAGGER LEE, TIME LAPSE, MISSING LYNX, ROUTE 66, THE EDGE, THE SHOOTERS, and BROTHERVILLE. Mike has traveled on the road with a show band called PENTAGON, which performed in Atlantic City and hotel chains along the east coast... "His talent and bottom end sound drives him to the top of the class."

Tom Pastor : Drums and Percussion/vocals
I have been playing drums for about forty-five years ( I’m giving away my age) . I’ve played with a number of bands including ECLIPSE, KNIGHTRIDERS, DISORGANIZED CRIME and 6 FOOT SYMUN.
Influential drummers include Neil Peart (RUSH) Mike Portnoy (DREAM THEATER), Phil Collins (GENESIS),
Phil Ehart (KANSAS), Buddy Rich and, of course, Curly Howard’s One Man Band (THREE STOOGES).
In 2012,Mike and Tim asked me if I wanted to join them and after some thought and hesitation on my part, I said “Why Soitenly” !! Until I found HAMILTON AVENUE I had forgotten how much fun it is to make music and to play for an appreciative audience. I look forward to playing a long time with these guys and hope we can entertain you some day.
Equipment: I use a YAMAHA DTX-540 electronic drum kit w/49 pre-set kits and 21 user programmable kits and have a TAMA SUPERSTAR double bass 17 piece kit w/10 various ZILDJIAN cymbals and TAMA hardware at home (my 1st kit from 1982 thanks to a Neil Peart influence).
